Founded in 2009 at Washwood Heath, Boden Rail Engineering Ltd has been dedicated to delivering top-notch locomotive servicing and repairs. Initially, our operations focused on key services such as locomotive servicing, fabrication works, power unit overhauls and repairs, wheelset changes, bogie overhauls, and locomotive painting. Situated in Birmingham, our team comprised highly skilled and experienced locomotive engineers who consistently delivered exceptional results.
2017
In 2017, in response to the development of the HS2 infrastructure, we relocated to the Eastcroft depot in Nottingham. This move allowed us to expand our capabilities and workforce. At Eastcroft, we not only continued our core services but also enhanced our expertise to include incident repairs, and the planning, design, and modifications necessary to improve the performance and reliability of locomotives.
2024
January 2024 marked another significant milestone for Boden Rail Engineering Ltd as we relocated and expanded our operations to Colwick TMD. This new, larger facility enables us to undertake more extensive projects, reflecting our commitment to growth and innovation. The state-of-the-art facilities at Colwick TMD support our team of dedicated engineers in maintaining the highest standards of excellence and safety in all our services.
